2 lbs. frozen hasbrowns
1/2 cup melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chopped onion (white)
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Thaw hashbrowns. Combine remaining ingredients and mix with hashbrowns.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
